Beijing, Jan 17 (IANS): Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi’s next version of in-house Android-based skin MIUI 12.5 update is scheduled to release to 27 chosen Xiaomi devices via OTA upgrade.
This includes Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10 Guru, Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Mi 10 Youth Edition, together with additional K series and Notice series mobiles, reported by GizmoChina.
As expected by the MIUI 12 users, this MIUI 12.5 update will be pushed into the versions in China first but later Xiaomi will push MIUI 12.5 Beta update globally.
MIUI 12.5 was promised to be a much better version of MIUI as well as also the new operating system is reportedly better than the prior MIUI versions.
There are rumours it will offer enhanced privacy settings, such as notifying programs of this approximate position of a device.
MIUI 12.5 can also be expected to present several animation adjustments to the default launcher and electricity menu, amongst others, together with a redesigned volume menu and Cleaner program.
