Sushant Singh Rajput Case Live Updates: Rhea Chakraborty got bail. After 28 days in jail, Rhea was finally granted bail. The actress was granted bail on a bond of Rs 1 lakh on Wednesday.
After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14, allegations against Rhea Chakraborty began to surface. Rhea used to give tea, coffee and other drinks to Sushant. Such allegations began to surface after various WhatsApp chats went public. Not only that, Rhea was allegedly importing drugs for Sushant along with Sauvik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. The house of Rhea Chakraborty was then searched.
A search of the actress’ home turned up various electronic devices, including her laptop. Rhea Chakraborty is alleged to have been involved in drug dealing and trafficking with these confiscated electronic devices. After two days of interrogation, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested. After the arrests of Sauvik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and Deepesh Sawant, the Narcotics Control Bureau took Rhea Chakraborty into their custody. The actress spent 27 days in Mumbai’s Byculla jail.
Rhea’s judicial custody was extended till October 20 on Tuesday. Which opened the mouth of a section of Bollywood. Swara Bhaskar and Anubhav Sinhara started demanding that Riya be granted bail soon.
