IndiaLive Education: NEEt Result 2020: NEET Result 2020, which was expected to release on today, will now be declared on 16 October, after the decision made by the Supreme Court of India.
The information was furnished at the Supreme Court on Monday by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. The Supreme Court said that the students who were unable to sit for the exam held on 13 September because they were either tested positive for coronavirus or because they lived in containment zones will be allowed to appear for NEET on 14 October.
Their results will also be declared on 16 October, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court. According to a report in LiveLaw, a bench headed by the Chief Justice of India passed this order based on the request made by the Solicitor General of India, Tushar Mehta on behalf of the CBSE.

Supreme Court allows NEET exam to be conducted on 14 October for students who could not appear for it due to COVID-19 infection or because of residing in containment zones and results are expected to be announced on 16 October, reports news agency ANI.
